Matush began his career in the early 1990s as a young DJ specializing in funky music. He quickly developed a passion for vinyl, mastering the art of DJing and captivating audiences with his unique style. His talent earned him the title of Polish Scratching DMC Champion, leading to his participation in the prestigious World DJ Mixing Championships in Rimini, Italy, in 1996.
By the mid-1990s, Matush had become a key promoter of house music, performing at major raves and events. In 1998, he released his first official mixed CD compilation for Low Pressings Traxx and debuted his first 12’’ vinyl, OFF-Limit EP. In 2001, his single “Latino Laif” became a cult classic, frequently played in Ibiza’s iconic clubs.
As a DJ, Matush’s style blends tech house and classic house, allowing him to perform worldwide from Dublin, London, and Ibiza to Warsaw and Moscow. He has played at prestigious clubs and festivals, including Creamfields, Electrocity, Audioriver, Sunrise, and Berlin’s Street Parade.
