Welcome to WMAC’s McEntosh Fever Analogue Audio Vault channel for "Dimentia" & popular music. The McEntosh Fever tape/radio show has been going strong for decades, & the radio-inspired call-letters W.M.A.C., created a couple of years later, stand for Mackintosh apples. Later on, from a college friend’s suggestion, it became the backronym, “(One Of) My Audio Cassettes”, too. It all started in the fall of 1980, me at age 12, with a bad case of laryngitis while staying home from school. Nearly 600 analog audio tapes and new millennium Digital Era Recordings, have kept the tradition of randomness, mutated music, AKA tape scratching’, AKA Dimentia, along w/ trivia, vacation trip family fun, insane characters, & crazy vocal silliness, alive & kicking. Here, I call it "Dimentia" (spelled differently to respect copy write laws), in honor of the huge influence, Dr. Demento has had on me.
