TMA is the Contemporary Music Student Ensemble based at Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire. It was founded in 2013 by the Rector of the Conservatory Reso Kiknadze and pianist, Assoc. Prof. Nino Jvania. The latter has been the artistic director of the ensemble since 2014. The ensemble setting changes every year that enables students of the Faculty of Performing Arts - singers and instrumentalists - to get acquainted with the trends of contemporary music performance. TMA gives concerts several times a semester, introducing the listeners to the works of contemporary Georgian and foreign composers of various generations.
