Hello ! I'm Theo Guimbard, French/British percussionnist based in Lyon, France. I am currently completing my studies in the National Conservatory of Lyon, since September 2021. I have played with different orchestras such as the national orchestras in Cannes, Nice and Lyon, as well as the opera of Lyon ; and various ensembles such as the Ulysses Percussion Ensemble, Eklekto Percussion or the Percussions de Strasbourg. I am mostly active in the field of contemporary music and creation, which has brought me to premiere works of various composers and performs in different countries including France, Spain, the UK, the Netherlands, Finland, Poland, Switzerland, Italy and China. I have been awarded by the Yamaha Music Europe Scholarship in 2023, and was a semi-finalist in the 2023 IPEA International Percussion Competition.
