I studied jazz improvisation with Adolph Sandole every Saturday morning for five and one half years in the late 1970s through early 1980s. In the process, we became good friends. One day, Adolph loaned me a vinyl copy of this album. When I listened to it, I couldn't believe what I was listening to, especially in historical context. I never heard anything like it. . This music needs to be heard by those who missed it, so here it is.
