The Legislature is composed of the Lieutenant Governor, the King’s representative, and the House of Assembly, the elected body of representatives. Together they form the legislative branch of government. There are 55 Members of the House of Assembly representing 55 electoral districts. The Assembly meets at Province House in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
