Three Quarters began on February 24th, 2018 with members Vikash, Kashish, Nikhil, Saurav & Shubham as the Vocalists, Keyboard + Bass, Drums, and Guitar respectively. All of them were undergraduate students of IIEST Shibpur. The band's primary goal was to make meaningful songs (in Hindi, because that was the common language among us all) as we felt the overall quality of Hindi songs then had been going down. Not that we'd do better, but was worth a shot. We performed our first OC, Shikaayat, at Oikotaan, IIEST Shibpur on March 24th, 2018. We then moved on to perform Two other OCs of ours: Door Kahin and Dariya at REBECA, IIEST Shibpur on April 13th, 2018. Since almost everyone loved the songs, (not as much as the performances, which weren't completely smooth), we started our YouTube Channel and FB page that day. Later, Vikash and Shubham had to leave but two other IIEST students Mayank and Ayanava joined the band. We released our first EP, Safar, on July 30th, 2019.
