David Berends (keyboards) and Michael Mironov (percussion) are Two Bald Wizards. Recording and performing without a safety net, together they create original spontaneous compositions incorporating elements of world, jazz, rock, funk, classical, ambient and avant-garde music into their unique and highly virtuosic conjurings. As benevolent wizards, David and Michael have pledged to donate the proceeds from their performances to charity. For their debut performance in Princeton, NJ in December, 2023 they donated half of their gross proceeds to SAVE: A Friend for Homeless Animals in Skillman, NJ and half to The Nature Conservancy. For their December, 2025 performance, also in Princeton, they donated half of their gross proceeds to Happy Paws Rescue Inc. in Plainfield, NJ and half to American Bird Conservancy.
