Sharing their love of harmony and melody and a wide range of ethnic influences in an intimate concert setting, the captivating duo performances of "SOUL LANGUAGE", the recently inaugurated Duo Project of Robert Kyle and Stephan Oberhoff are a direct result of a creative process the two musicians refer to as "Sound Baths", also the title of their upcoming DC release. Having met through a referral of a musician friend, Stephan and Robert began their collaboration by just playing, without planning or written music - free fall, so to speak. They noticed quickly that certain melodies and themes would miraculously appear and re-appear - upon which the 2 musicians (both also prolific composers) would then proceed to "give birth" to whatever would want to surface. The result is immediately visible in the incredible "Tuned-In-ness" the duo exhibits, stemming from more than 2 years of trusting each other and refining and re-writing their material, ready to be presented at last.
