CC's addictive songs push genre boundaries from reggae, ska and dancehall to funk and soul, acoustic rock and twist of jazz, making the live show a journey across a world of delectable musical planes. The Brisbane/Gold Coast-based 5-piece have just finished recording their second full-length album "Songs from the Sea" for release in the second half of 2013. "Songs from the Sea" promises to be a solid follow-up to the debut album, and nearly 12 months in the making, fans and selectors alike are waiting eagerly for the album's release. CC THE CAT's debut album "Inna Babylon Jungle" (2010) was described by Rave Magazine as "one of the best Australian reggae albums I've heard", and copped a smashing on radio stations across Oz, including national network Triple J.
