Indie pop. Poet pop. Violin songstress. Feminist witch. Bitch, formerly of Bitch and Animal, is a performance artist, LGBTQ icon, musician, writer, poet and entertainer. Her shows, like her name, are exercises in liberation. She has released albums on the label started by Ani Difranco, Righteous Babe Records, and Kill Rock Stars. She has her own label Short Story Records, where she has released her own albums as well as albums she produced of her folk idol Ferron. She penned the "Pussy Manifesto" years ago with her bandmate Animal, and has recently released a new version of it as a live-stream video. Her upcoming album "Bitchcraft" will be released on Kill Rock Stars.
