Singing for Pleasure

At "Singing for Pleasure" I try to provide recordings of the individual parts for Choir music. The repertoire includes music from the 13th to the 20th century, some serious some less so, and from many countries. Generally the parts are taken from four part arrangements but some will include 2 through to 8 parts. I began producing mp3 voice parts for songs and during the "Covid lockdown", I was asked to produce more songs parts and the channel grew from there. I have limited musical experience but throughout my life have sung with choirs where an accomplished accompanist was always on hand. These recordings, however, are produced using "Sibelius" software and are not intended for use in performance – I hope they will provide, for "non-musicians" like me, an opportunity to practice outside the usual rehearsal times.
