Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners are an indie folk-rock band based in Seattle, WA founded by life long friends Mitch Cutts, Nic Haughn, and Jakob Ervin, with Dylan Schneider and Jack Shields (of Jack Shields & The Mojave Rush) joining the band later.
The band started in Colorado when they released their self-titled debut album RMCM in 2017, (which includes Evergreen which has been certified RIAA 2x Platinum and has entered Spotify’s Billions Club, and Lake Missoula which has been certified RIAA Gold), since then releasing four more full length studio albums and one live album: Solstice, Subliming, Colorado’s On Fire Again, No Silent Monks, and Colorado’s On Fire Again Live ‘25, along with dozens of singles and demos. They are currently touring the world and recording new music, and have continued to use RMCM as a platform to independently release music and create art.
