theRing is a Philadelphia-based collective of producers, songwriters and musicians who create “authentic soul music with a hip-hop edge." Independently formed in 2022 under The Ring Music Group umbrella, they have since been creating a refined catalog of records aimed at revitalizing the culture of music emanating from the “City of Brotherly Love.” Their debut album, a first of its kind soundtrack for PBS American Masters documentary series “Renegades”, is slated to drop in the Summer 2025 and will feature the likes of Selena Johnson, Mumu Fresh, Musiq Soulchild, Jill Scott, J. Brown and Kenya Vaun among others.
