Born on the Spanish island of Mallorca, this man hails from Manacor, a small town located in the eastern part of the island. Originally from the Cabo Verde Islands, he developed a love for music at a young age. His favorite musical styles range from dark tech house to techno and psy-trance. Carl Fons has developed his own unique style of music with the goal of evoking pure emotion and causing his audience to raise their arms in excitement. In 1996, he began working as a Light Jockey at a pub called "Pub es Golf" on the east side of Mallorca, using Technics Mk2 turntables and a Denon CD player. At the time, vinyl and CDs were the primary formats for music sessions, and having a good touch with the vinyls to adjust the beats per minute (BPM) was highly valued.
