Chanelle Albert & the Easy Company is an indie pop-rock band from Sudbury, Ontario, led by Franco-Ontarian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Chanelle Albert. Formed in 2018, the quartet currently consists of Chanelle, Josh Myre, Jacob Tyler, and Matteo DeSimone. Moving between raw energy, poignant poetry, and a nostalgic atmosphere, they stand out for a sound that is both modern and timeless. Their first studio album, 22nd Century Beautiful People, released in 2024, solidified their place on the independent scene thanks to standout tracks like “Don’t Leave Your Baby,” which has been played notably on SiriusXM. After performing at some of Northern Ontario's top festivals in 2024, Chanelle Albert & the Easy Company continued to gain momentum with showcases at the Folk Canada Conference in 2025. Having completed a Francophone artist residency in Sudbury with La Slague in 2025, Chanelle and her band continue to shape a sound that blends dark romanticism with charming honesty.
