Hello I'm Chris, Head Chef at elda restaurant in the UK. I've been a chef for 10 years and I've worked at everything from cafes through to 1,2 & 3 star restaurants, and alongside Heston Blumenthal at his lab in France. Before I fell in love with cooking, I raced around Europe as a professional cyclist, and before that I studied chemistry; I hold a PhD in Organic Chemistry and Natural Product Synthesis. During that time I was banned -- by multiple housemates -- from cooking.
