Docs In Progress is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to empowering independent documentary filmmakers to make better films by giving them the tools to foster and improve their storytelling skills in all stages of the filmmaking process. Filmmakers are equipped with new ideas, a support network, and renewed confidence to complete their films and go on to acquire funding successfully, be accepted into film festivals, and sell their films to broadcasters, distributors, educational institutions, and the general public. The trailers you see on this page are from some of the alumni of our programs. They have either screened their works in progress for public comment at screenings in Washington DC or Baltimore, participated in our training classes, or consulted with us on a one-on-one basis.
