In his compositions Claudio Gabriele gives great importance to the transmission of emotional and primordial sound substance: musical notation makes use of traditional medias and unconventional ideas, such as psycho-graphic signs, pictorial ideograms, chironomy gesture. His musical style is infused with elements of theatre, often with the help of modern technology, such as video and sound spatialisation. In his conception of musical aesthetics, Claudio Gabriele alternates situations of pure humour to atmospheres of dreams and meditation, almost an evocation of parallel worlds, but always with a sense of deep reflection on today's life.
