The cast of the London revival of A Chorus Line raised £2,344 at their exclusive cabaret show What We Did For Love held on Monday, 5th August at The Leicester Square Theatre. Produced by David Orchard and Harry Francis, the show was hosted by John Partridge and the money raised was presented to Acting For Others/Royal Theatrical Fund.
The cabaret featured over 20 musical numbers from an opening number which took a humourous look at the demands of dancing eight shows a week in a two-hour, no-interval show; to rock, pop, country and of course, Broadway. Darren Lord was musical director, Craig Mather provided percussion. The evening ended with a standing ovation as everyone joined in a rousing chorus of "One Singular Sensation". Technical direction by Matt Wallace, stage manager: James Matthew Hughes, Sound: Gareth Prentice, Lighting: Johnny Dickie, Graphic design: Tom McGregor, Video: Joe Tremain.
