I am an award-winning documentary filmmaker, Promoter, and Activist. I am also a father, family man, artist, and from Kenya. I am passionate and embody diverse creative and technical skills in the media industry. I've used my creative talents for years to visually voice, broaden, elevate, and diversify people's thoughts about Africa. I’ve done it through various projects rooted in music, sports, and lifestyle experiences that help bridge the gap. I've appeared in high schools and colleges across the U.S., speaking about our films, Hip-hop Colony and Ni Wakati (It's Time). I've traversed Africa filming a series about Basketball and the opportunities it presents called Passport; Basketball in Africa and created web shows like the famed 10MinFix – an online show that captured a slice of the life-in-day of young African in the U.S. I also enjoy assisting and collaborating with other creatives and brands.
