Welcome to Laura's Senior Exercise. My classes include safe exercises to increase strength, improve range of motion and flexibility through various movements. Teaching the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program (AFEP) keeps me in shape without hurting my joints .
I use coordination and rhythm building techniques with various types of music to make movement fun and effective.
The AFEP program's combination of deep breathing, stretching, aerobics, balance, resistance band and weight training make it a perfect fit for any fitness level as well as those recuperating from surgery and those with arthritis or Parkinson's.
Just make sure to use the correct resistance band strength and weights to get the full benefits of this program.
