Araz Imanov is a diplomat, musician, and equestrian, with roots in Karabakh. His diplomatic career began in 2006, following graduation from Northumbria Uni and concluded in 2023 (full restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty). Imanov has collaborated with Emil Afrasiyab, Emin Karimi, Jamil Amirov, Keco Brandão, Elchin Shirinov, Etibar Asadli, Tarlan Mammadli, Samir Shirinov, Rashad Hashimov, Teymur Suleymanbayli, Tayyar Bayramov, Rasim Muzaffarli, Seven Bailey, Timothy Bailey, Romel Veal, Andrae Alexander, Ant Law, Panagiotis Andreou, Engin Gunaydin, Yigit Shener, Isgandar Alasgarov, Ruslan Huseynov, Vagif Aliyev, Tofig Jabbarov, Yashar Bakhish, Oleg Naumov, Eldar Mammadov, Elvin Bashirov, Elvin Nabiyev and held major concerts in 2017 and 2019, which drew nearly 2,000 attendees. He was the flag bearer during the centenary parade of Baku’s liberation in 2018 and participated in the first Karabakh horse show in Shusha in 2021 after the region’s liberation.
