De La Soul Child (b. Torres) is an American Poetic Expressionist Fine Artist, Poet, Designer & Photographer based in New Jersey. Studying Psychology in college, he began his spiritual & mental health journey through art. He created handmade accessories, selling locally & internationally, gifting pieces to family & friends. Later began exploring Photography, shaping his curiosity in art since a child. 14’, he found art as therapy while navigating depression, later being diagnosed with G.A.D. 16’, he sold his first wearable art piece in 5 hours on Instagram. After moving to Florida in 16’, his journey deepened—painting on clothing, building collectors internationally & locally, creating works on paper, & transitioning into canvas as his primary medium. 21’, he exhibited at Bagatelle London with Imitate Modern & began releasing NFTs as 1/1s & editions. After Hurricane Ian flooded his apartment & some past works, he returned to NJ, back where it all started,-studio of 15’. 🇩🇴🇵🇷
