I’m Ashraf — a retired Aussie‑Egyptian songwriter making music for joy, peace, and connection with my family and friends (old & new) in my retirement days. From country‑rock to romantic ballads, I create songs that celebrate family, kindness, and the beauty of everyday life. I create romantic, soulful songs in Italian, French, Arabic, and English. I write from memory, travel, family, and the dreams that never grow old. Here you’ll find heartfelt stories, nostalgic melodies, and cover art shaped from my own life. I release my creations as “MeAshraf70” as I started to release once I turned 70. I play the guitar, keyboard and use Apple Logic Pro for mixing and tuning prior to final release. I do use AI to finalise the singing part under my instructions as I can emphasise how my lyrics should sound using a male, female or kids voice, or a mix as the executive producer. I also use AI for the production of my music cover art, unless I have my own photos that reflect the topic of my song.
