Huron County is one of Michigan’s hidden gems. Nearly 100 miles of shoreline and outdoor activities, small towns with fantastic infrastructure, and a relaxing pace of life await you. Our mission at the EDC is to create a vibrant economy in Huron County by supporting small businesses, marketing our area, and helping to continually increase the quality of life for our residents. The Huron County Economic Development will strive to develop, maintain and enhance the economic base and quality of life in Huron County. This will be accomplished by marketing the area, assisting businesses to start up or expand, consulting with local governments and organizations on development issues and acting as a catalyst for projects at the local, state and national levels.
