I’m not a vanlifer I’m a vandweller Big difference My father was a traveller. I was born in a van in 1971 and grew up around travellers and gypsies from the 70s through the late 90s. Like my mother, I was brought up hard as nails — working the land from the age of seven in all weathers The outdoors isn’t a hobby to me. It’s just life You won’t find any of that polished vanlife nonsense here. No clickbait thumbnails, no emotional music, no drone shots floating over my van. No “good morning guys”, no brews, no cooking, and definitely no waking the dog for content. Just straight, real life the way it used to be I’m not here for subscribers or kissing anyone’s arse. If you like what I say, stick around. If you don’t, do one I’ve got zero interest in the vanlife scene. I just enjoy taking the piss out of the ridiculous COVID-era trend that turned living in a vehicle into some Instagram fantasy.
