This channel features the music of Barton and Priscilla McLean in many dimensions: videos (mostly the music with video enhancements, live performance, or following along with music scores). Also featured are a series of live interviews about their 39 years of full time touring as The McLean Mix electroacoustic music duo. Additionally a series of tutorials with MAX/MSP and most recently Kyma are seen. The McLeans are best known by their deep dive into nature and natural sounds as a primary constituent of their music, but with a definite classical and/or jazzy twist. Also prevalent in recent works is a new emphasis on composing through the Kyma system--an advanced tool which produces magical, never-before-heard results.
