A place to share my love of great music, the universal language that transcends all limitations! WELCOME to all lovers of music! I am Timothy Jones, Pianist, Organist, and a former student of Dr. Jack Mitchener in the Bachelor of Music (Organ performance) program at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia (graduated May 13, 2019). I have also studied piano under Dr. Geoffrey Haydon in the piano department at Georgia State University in Atlanta, where I completed a Masters degree in Piano Pedagogy (graduated May 13, 2021). As a visually impaired musician, I love to use my gifts to encourage others that the only limitations are those in our minds--music transcends them! I am inspired by the achievements of blind organists Jean Langlais, André Marchal, Helmut Walcha, and contemporary organist David Liddle, and blind pianists such as George Shearing, Nobuyuk Tsujii (Van Cliburn winner 2009), and Ken Medema. May my abilities lift others up, as do theirs!
