Real Magic Review is a YouTube channel dedicated to honest reviews, thoughtful discussions, and the occasional rabbit hole into the strange world of magic and mentalism. I’m Steve Faulkner, professional magician, creator, teacher, and someone slightly obsessed with why magic works so well on people. On this channel you’ll find reviews of magic tricks, books, apps, and gimmicks, along with conversations about performance, presentation, creativity, psychology, and developing material for real audiences. The aim has never been to simply rate products or tear things apart. I’m far more interested in exploring what makes something useful, deceptive, practical, inspiring, or enjoyable to perform, and where certain ideas may or may not work for different performers. No hype. No fake reactions. Just proper conversations about magic from someone who genuinely loves it.
