Anastasio is a multidisciplinary artist mostly known for his work as a Poet / MC. He is also interested in visual storytelling through the mediums of film and photography and frequently collaborates with other artists to create multimedia works in different formats. He sees art as a collaborative, communal process not a competitive one and his work and process reflects that. His music and writing is often deeply personal and created as a therapeutic way to process experiences and find peace of mind. He also keeps in mind that others might be going through similar situations who might relate to his story or be inspired to tell their own using their own creative voice. Anastasio was Inspired as a young man by other creatives and the legacy of culture that he is a part of and seeks to progress that with his art, building on what he has learned.
