Hi and Welcome to Baking en my Place by JMPARTYCAKES Bakery. We are a learning channel dedicated to baking and cake decorating. After getting laid off from my corporate job in November I enrolled in a pastry arts program and these videos help me to cement my learning and allow me to share my experiences with other people looking to learn. Growing up in Jamaica, my mom cooked every meal and dessert we had and I loved spending time with her in the kitchen watching, helping, and learning as she made everything from scratch. The holidays left an imprint on me as I have memories of dough on the verandah rising in the Jamaican sunshine. Demonstration videos of selected recipes from various sources such as kingarthur.com, allrecipes.com and Joy of Baking.com.
