Tomorro Tomorro's new EP, LOCKDOWN LOVE, was composed in uncertain times. Nashville-based singer-songwriter M.D. Halas and writer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Phantom Farmer turned stolen moments and collages of creative elements into a cohesive snapshot reflecting the lived experience of many. The pandemic wasn't a tragedy for everyone. For those fortunate enough to have an upside to all this, these songs might illuminate a path to unlocking it. Featuring Daisha McBride, the title track celebrates earnest love through a story of lovers using lockdown as a time machine to their early love. Phantom Farmer's fresh sonic palette is a backdrop to Sade-inspired melodies that Halas delivers in layers with vocalist Helen Vaskevitch. McBride says, "There's a beautiful thing about falling love/You can make it last forever if you want it enough". It's a simple yet largely unattainable concept but Halas explains why we try. "There's nowhere else to go. How long, how long? We don't know".
