Influenced by synthpop, classic new wave / cold wave, minimal techno, and with a pinch of post punk, Avro released their first EP “Anatomy Act” in 2016, followed by a full length album “Futuretroactivism” in June 2022, and have just released their new album "Psychopathé" on their Warranty:Void Records imprint. Since their first album release back in 2022, Avro has been a regular at BC festival dates such as Sunk City in Nanaimo BC, The Woodstove Festival in Cumberland BC, Winter Arts Fest in Vancouver, and Rogue Festival on the BC Sunshine Coast. Along with their spring 2023 tour across Ontario and Quebec, Avro has shared stages with other electronic and pop artists like Devours, Moonbean, and Drama Queen, crafting an energetic stage show that has kept audiences moving to their tight darker rhythms and hypnotic vocals.
