EuroMeSCo is the main network of research centres and think tanks in the Euro-Mediterranean area. Founded in 1996, in the aftermath of the Barcelona Declaration, the network currently comprises 104 institutes from 29 European and Southern Mediterranean countries. EuroMeSCo: Support to Reflection and Consultations on the Pact for the Mediterranean is a project co-funded by the European Union and the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) that is implemented in the framework of the EuroMeSCo network. As part of a year-and-a-half-long project funded by the EU, the EuroMeSCo network of think tanks, coordinated by the IEMed will gather insights and contributions from policymakers, experts, and local communities across the Euro-Mediterranean region to help shape the new Pact for the Mediterranean.
