Tom Freund's "Truly Mellow" Channel Tom Freund is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Freund's music consists of elements of blues, folk, and rock. He released his debut solo album in 1998 on RCA Records and has released albums on his own Surf Road Records since 2000. He has contributed to albums by artists including Graham Parker, Mandy Moore and Josh Kelley. Some of his work has appeared on TV programs such as Dawson's Creek, Las Vegas, One Tree Hill, Parenthood, Better Things and Pete The Cat. Tom has recorded and performed with legends such as Elvis Costello, Jackson Browne, and his long time collaborator Ben Harper with whom he’s made numerous albums and toured the world. Freund has also toured with rock legend Graham Parker, and appeared with him in the Judd Apatow film This Is 40.
