Internationally renowned orchestra and choir the Academy of Ancient Music performs Baroque and Classical music in the style of the time it was composed. Founded over 40 years ago by Christopher Hogwood, the AAM led a ground-breaking approach to period performance, bringing the music’s vitality to the fore by playing on authentic instruments. Under the dynamic leadership of current Music Director Richard Egarr, the AAM performs music from Monteverdi to Beethoven.
