NaomiG is a melodic rapper/singer/songwriter making waves within Chicago’s music scene. She’s from the east side of chicago. She’s studied performing arts, voice, and piano for over 10 years. She has performed at SOB’S in NY, Black Women’s Expo, Sofar Sounds and more! She was the first musician selected as an inauguratory recipient of the John Walt Foundation , a prestigious scholarship and mentorship program created by Chicago’s own, Pivot Gang and Nachelle Pugh. Naomi now sits on the John Walt Foundation board of directors and also curates concerts around the city with Sofar Sounds. She just released her latest EP “NoSpace (Pt. B) ” last september to positive reception, which gained her the attention of The Chicago Reader. Also, She will be featured in Twista’s upcoming music reality show called The Beatdown.
