The Hallowed Catharsis is a progressive/techy death metal band from Vancouver, BC, Canada. Since our 2017 record "Solar Cremation", all the music has been based on inter-related stories (sci fi, duh) that we've created specifically to make our musical storytelling more immersive. We believe it's more fun to get into something if you can get REALLY into it. In 2020 (womp womp) we released the next installment, "Killowner", which is our most frantic and chaotic work to date. We are currently working on wrapping up the writing stage of our next album. It is going to be a full length and this time the story has been written at novel length, so there is going to be a lot to dig into.
