Scientific Animations Without Borders™ (SAWBO) is a Purdue University-based program. SAWBO transforms extension information on relevant topics such as agriculture, disease and women's empowerment, into 2D, 2.5D and 3D animations, which are then voice overlaid into a diversity of languages from around the world. All SAWBO animations are made freely available to anyone wishing to use them for educational purposes. Cell phone ready animations can be downloaded from our video library: sawbo-animations.org SAWBO™ is an award-winning program funded mainly by private donations. We employ students; thus, donations provide these students with important work experience and unique international experiences. New animations will help people prevent and treat diseases, grow better crops as well as empowering women in developing nations.
