Constantly seeking change and evolution, Namaka are unafraid to reinvent themselves with every recording. Written, produced, and recorded between Zurich and Brussels, using a tape recorder and a laptop, Cloudspotting takes a low-key stroll through Namaka’s sonic playground. E-bass melodies melt into ambient episodes, while synthesizers lazily drift over drums that resonate as though recorded in a dripstone cave. The vocals - both sung and spoken - effortlessly float above the music, deeply honest, intimate, and haunting.
