It wasn't until his college years that Dan began singing an performing publicly. Beginning small, playing and singing backup for various vocalists at open mics in Ithaca, NY. After moving to Washington DC in 2009, he began performing primarily as a solo artist and after networking with local musicians and studios Dan began recording his music resulting in several iTunes album releases. But, it wasn't until 2010, while living in the DC area, that he really began to focus on the creation of a "full band." Several Craigslist ads later he was regular performing a mix of original tunes as well as many popular covers with the motley crew known as The Muddy Crows. This YouTube Channel is a more raw, intimate, view into the songwriting and performing of Dan Wolff and the tunes that he has made popular the last few years.
