12 Mile is a Texas Country band based out of San Angelo, TX. It was formed out of a happy accident when Beau King (lead singer) was discovered while stocking dog food and singing his favorite George Strait song at the local Walmart. Charles Reyes (Lead Guitar) heard him singing and decided to approach Beau, complimenting him on his vocal talent and inviting him to a jam session. They immediately began to write songs with Tim Vasquez (Drummer) and Jimmy Patino (Bass Guitar). The music started to take shape, but really came alive when another discovery was made. Fiddle player Griffin McDonald moved to San Angelo to attend Angelo State University and also wanted to take a step into the local music scene. He placed an ad on Facebook looking to join a band. After attending one rehearsal, we all knew we had something to offer the texas country music scene. 12 Mile placed our faith and songs in the hands of producer Jude Dyllan (Red Dirt Recording Studios)
