The NK Jays are a 3 piece indie rock band from Glasgow Scotland, featuring Neil Jamieson (drums), James Brown (bass/ keys) and his brother Kenny Brown (vocals/guitar)
Patchwork Story will be their debut album. The songs written from the heart, focusing on melody and lyrics giving an organic, stripped back old school rock n roll feel with an acoustic deep south twist playing on the bands main influences of Springsteen, Dylan, Lou Reid, The Stones and Howlin' Wolf.
The album features guest backing vocal performance from ex Speedway front woman Jill Jackson as well as a duet on the song "Catch Her Fall" The album was coproduced by James Duffin and The NK Jays at Loretto House Studios and Mastered by Wet Wet Wet guitarist Graeme Duffin at The Foundry Music Lab.
