The Honeyrunners' new LP “Everything Is On Fire” (Gypsy Soul Records/Warner Music) is now available on all platforms. The band’s body of work aims to disrobe our culture of apathy – a sentiment that everything is on fire, with nothing to do but watch. The record is a reminder of why your presence is needed in times like these, with a chorus on the title track reminiscent of a Clint Eastwood cowboy flick, “Let it burn. It’s the ashes that I admire.” “We write songs for the times we need them”, notes songwriter Dan Dwoskin. The four-piece Toronto group (toting twelve members for bigger shows) is fronted by the Ottawa-born Dwoskin (keys, lead vocals) and Canadian-Peruvian engineer / producer, Guillermo Subauste (bass, vocals). New additions to the lineup are the soulful Conor Gains (electric guitar, vocals) and Daniel McLean (drums, vocals).
