This is a dedication channel to the late Pravesh Khelawan (23 December 1960 - 31 December 2020), an excellent multi talented musican, husband, father, brother, friend and beloved community member.

Pravesh Khelawan was the grandson of Ramdhary Rattan, a pioneer in nagara, sarangi, thabla and Bhojpuri folk songs in the 1880s in Durban, and the son of the legendary Khelawan Ramdhary, founder of the group popularly known as "Kella n Party" , himself a multi talented musician from the 1940s to the 1980s.
Pravesh was a self taught musician from the age of 5. He was a member of various popular South African Indian bands during the course of his musical career, from 1975 - 2005.
Pravesh performed in many countries including South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique,Malawi, Lesotho, Mauritius, Dubai and India.
