Constantly in demand, Down for the Count regularly sell out shows at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Cadogan Hall, Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho, Le Caveau de la Huchette (Paris) and London Jazz Festival. The band performs in three line-ups: a 10-piece "All-Stars" mini big band, a 19-piece "big band", and a 30-piece orchestral "big band with strings".
The band recreate classic tunes from the likes of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nat 'King' Cole, Louis Armstrong and more. But this is no mere nostalgia trip – they perform each song in their own unmistakeable style, breathing new life into the best vintage music.
