(www.linktr.ee/y4pt) #Y4PT20years #Y4PThackathon #NGO #NonProfit Our Milestones 2005: Y4PT was created as the UITP Youth Project. 2008: Y4PT launches its first youth parliament, later on called youth lab and nowadays running under the name of youth hackathon. 2009: Y4PT starts using its current name: “Youth For Public Transport”. 2013: Y4PT is registered as a Belgium-based foundation by UITP. 2016: Y4PT launches its current Global Transport Hackathon series. 2017: The Y4PT Global Transport Hackathon series was acknowledged by the European Mobility Week Secretariat (European Commission) as one of the best practices of 2017. 2025: Y4PT turns 20 years and for marking its two-decade anniversary it is now a fully-independent organization sustained by major stakeholders in the transport world.
