Acoustic Union is a Pittsburgh, PA based acoustic group, formerly known as Vento, Ziggy, Hawk & McCarthy. Founding members John Vento, Bob Zigerelli, Cherylann Hawk & Kevin McCarthy assembled in Aug of 2023, and then when Joe Birch changed from special guest to member status in Jan 2025 due to Ziggy's health, a new name was born. With 4 part harmonies that float over acoustic guitars & percussion, they craft fresh yet familiar renditions of their own creations, and songs you know & love. Their song catalogue is a blend of tunes from their debut album "Four Ever," released Sept 2024, various originals from John’s albums “Love, Lust & Other Wreckage” & “Brick by Brick,” a handful of Cherylann’s originals from various projects, and acoustic versions of popular favorites from CSNY, Bob Dylan, Harry Chapin, James Taylor, John Prine, Ricky Nelson, Linda Ronstadt, Tracy Chapman, local artists & more.
