Marynissen Estates is a boutique winery located at the base of the Niagara escarpment. The vineyard is home to the oldest planting of Cabernet Sauvignon in Canada.
Founded by viticulture pioneer, John Marynissen, the varietal was planted in 1978, alongside Syrah and Merlot, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Chardonnay, and Gamay vines that have thrived in the soil for over 35 years.
